PlatinaSound Free to Use License

This License explains how you may use music downloaded from PlatinaSound. By downloading or using a Track from platinasound.com, you agree to this License.

Free to use in online content. Commercial use allowed. Monetization allowed. Attribution optional. Content ID may apply.

1. Free to Use

You may use PlatinaSound Tracks in online and digital content, including:

• YouTube videos and Shorts
• TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other social media
• monetized videos and user-generated content
• sponsored content and brand integrations
• client videos
• online advertising
• podcasts and livestreams
• websites
• mobile and desktop applications
• video games
• corporate online content
• online documentaries and short films
• other similar digital and audiovisual projects

You may enable monetization on your Content. However, a valid Content ID claim may affect who receives some or all advertising revenue

No separate license fee is required for the uses listed above.

The License is worldwide, non-exclusive and free to use.

If you create Content for a client, the client may use the finished Content. Neither you nor the client receives any right to redistribute the Track separately.

2. Uses That Require a Custom License

The standard PlatinaSound Free to Use License does not automatically cover:

• television broadcasting
• radio broadcasting
• theatrical films or cinema releases
• professional film or television productions
• theatrical trailers
• large-scale advertising campaigns requiring formal rights clearance
• physical products containing or reproducing the music
• uses requiring a signed license, cue sheet, chain-of-title documentation or other formal clearance

A separate Custom License may be required.

Ordinary YouTube videos, online documentaries, social-media content and other online creator content remain covered by Section 1.

3. Attribution

Attribution is optional.

You may use a Track without credit unless the Track page expressly states otherwise.

However, credit helps support the artists and helps other creators discover PlatinaSound.

4. Content ID

Some PlatinaSound Tracks are registered with YouTube Content ID or similar rights-management systems.

Your Content may therefore receive an automated Content ID claim.

A Content ID claim does not automatically mean that your use violates this License.

If your use complies with this License, your Content remains licensed even if a Content ID claim appears.

PlatinaSound or the applicable Rights Holder may use Content ID to:

• identify uses of a Track
• track uses of a Track
• claim eligible Content
• monetize eligible Content

You may monetize your Content. However, this License does not guarantee that all advertising or platform revenue associated with that Content will be paid to you .

Unless a Track or separate license is expressly marked as claim-free, whitelisted, or otherwise approved by PlatinaSound, you do not have an automatic right to require the release of a valid Content ID monetization claim.

Do not dispute a valid PlatinaSound Content ID claim solely because the Track was downloaded from PlatinaSound.

If a claim identifies the wrong music, comes from an unrelated third party, appears to be incorrect, or otherwise appears inconsistent with this License, contact support@platinasound.com.

PlatinaSound will not intentionally issue a copyright takedown or strike solely because you used a Track in compliance with this License where PlatinaSound controls the relevant enforcement action.

PlatinaSound may offer separate claim-free or whitelist licenses in the future. Such rights apply only when expressly granted.

5. Editing

You may make basic edits necessary to fit a Track into your Content.

You may:

• trim or cut the Track
• fade it in or out
• adjust its volume
• place speech, dialogue or other sounds over it

You may not materially transform the Track without separate permission.

This includes deliberately:

• changing its pitch or speed
• creating a remix or derivative music release
• substantially altering its fingerprint
• modifying it primarily to avoid Content ID or other identification systems

Editing never gives you ownership of the Track.

6. What You Cannot Do

You may not:

• redistribute a Track as standalone music
• sell or sublicense the Track itself
• upload the Track for others to download
• upload a Track as a standalone or near-standalone YouTube music video
• release a Track on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music or similar services as your own release
• upload Tracks to another royalty-free, stock-music or music-library service
• create compilations whose primary purpose is to redistribute full PlatinaSound Tracks
• include Tracks in sample packs, sound kits or downloadable music collections
• claim ownership or authorship of a Track
• register a Track or edited version in your own Content ID or rights-management system
• create copyright claims against other users based on rights you do not own
• deliberately modify a Track to bypass Content ID or fingerprinting
• use a Track to train, fine-tune or create datasets for AI or machine-learning models without separate written permission

Simple Rule

You may use the Track inside your Content.

You may not redistribute or exploit the Track as the product itself.

7. Ownership

All copyrights and ownership rights remain with the applicable artist, composer, producer, label, publisher or other Rights Holder.

This License does not transfer copyright or ownership to you.

PlatinaSound grants licenses only to the extent authorized by the applicable Rights Holder.

8. Track Removal and Existing Content

PlatinaSound may remove a Track from the Platform or stop granting new licenses for it at any time.

If you lawfully created Content while the Track was available under this License, that existing Content may normally remain published and continue to be used under the License terms that applied at that time.

Once a Track has been removed from PlatinaSound, this License does not automatically authorize new Content using that Track.

This does not prevent PlatinaSound from taking action where continued use becomes legally impossible because of a genuine rights dispute, court order or applicable law.

9. Third-Party Platforms

YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch and other third-party platforms operate their own copyright, monetization and moderation systems.

PlatinaSound cannot guarantee:

• that an automated copyright claim will never occur
• that a third-party platform will make a particular decision
• uninterrupted monetization
• uninterrupted availability of a Track or platform

10. Violations

If you materially violate this License, your right to use the affected Track may be terminated.

Serious violations include:

• unauthorized redistribution
• false ownership claims
• unauthorized Content ID registration
• resale of Tracks as music assets
• deliberate circumvention of rights-management systems

11. Liability

The Platform and Tracks are provided on an “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlatinaSound and the applicable Rights Holders are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform or Tracks, including loss of revenue, monetization, data or business opportunities.

Nothing in this License excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Changes to This License

PlatinaSound may update this License from time to time.

Changes apply to future downloads and new uses from the effective date of the updated License.

Existing Content lawfully created under an earlier version will normally continue under the version that applied when that Content was created.
